When I started at this company, I was an administrative assistant. Now, I had been a quality coordinator before and I considered the a.a. position beneath me. No one wanted to hire me in quality, so I didn't have much of choice but to take it. Shortly after I started, my boss asked me to order lunch for a meeting of executives. When asked for more direction, my boss simply replied "whatever". So I ordered from a nearby Korean restaurant. I ordered a variety of things, including a wide selection of pickled and fermented things and a baby octopus dish. I loved it. Turns out that was not what my boss had in mind. He never asked me to order lunch again.
