Wired magazine has linked computer programming ability to a mild form of autism. I couldn't agree more. Anyone who can stare at code for 8 hours must have something wrong with them. I have recently stumbled on a reasonable substitute for this: hangovers.

Yes, with just a few margaritas or the better part of a bottle of wine, I too can achieve the clouded mental state required for this type of monotonous work. So please excuse the brevity of this entry; I must strike while the iron is luke warm.
